We deliver a wide range of courses to support people looking to get back in to work or develop their skills to help them get the job they want.
We aren’t a college.
We do things differently.
97% of our learners achieve their goals because of all the support we put in place in and outside the classroom.
Most people that enrol on our courses are eligible for a free place:
- If you receive any benefits or if you earn less than the national living wage (£20,319 pa before tax as of 1st April 2023).
- We also help with the cost of transport, parking, childcare and course fees/materials to make sure those that need the course can do the course.
- If you need a laptop and internet access to take part in the course we can fix that too!

Retail Courses
Pemberton House, Curriers Lane
Tuesday 18th April
Intro to Retail Workshop. Explore what it is like, and the skills needed to work in a retail shop.
Tuesday 25th April
Skills for Retail: Level 1. You will develop your customer service skills, such as identifying good customer service skills, the selling process, good communication skills, product knowledge and how to deal with customer complaints and the importance of stock control and pricing. On completion you can achieve a Level 1 Award in Retail Skills.
Hospitality and Catering Courses
Murrayside Community Centre, Nacton Road
Friday 19th May
Intro to Hospitality Workshop. Explore the roles and skills needed to work in cafes, pubs and restaurants.
Friday 6th June
Skills for Planning and Cooking Set Menus: Level 1. You will learn how to prepare, cook, and present simple dishes as well as the health, allergy, and safety elements of working in the industry. At the end of the course, you will host a pop-up lunch for friends and family and you can achieve a Level 1 Realise Futures Certificate.
Logistics Courses

Thursday 11th May
Logistics and Stock Control Workshop. Dive into how warehouses keep delivery vans on the road.
Monday 5th June
Skills for Logistics: Level 1. You will learn the skills needed as a delivery driver, route planner, warehouse manager and customer service assistant and develop the knowledge and skills needed for route planning. On completion you can achieve a Level 1 Award in Logistics.
Health and Care Courses
Castle Hill Community Centre, Highfield Road
Tuesday 2nd May
Intro to the Health & Care. Explore the many different jobs in the Health & Care sector.
Tuesday 9th May
Skills for Health & Care: Level 1. You will learn the skills and knowledge to provide high standards of person-centred care for adults who access these services. On completion you can achieve a Level 1 Certificate in Skills for Health and Care.
Creative Digital Design Courses
Pemberton House, Curriers Lane
Thursday 25th May
Intro to Digital Design Workshop. Explore the roles and skills needed to work in the digital creative industry.
Tuesday 8th June
Skills for Creative Digital Design: Level 1. You will learn the many ways design is used in business and the range of jobs from graphic design to window display, to packaging design to creating websites and develop your design skills using different software to create, manipulate and edit your own work. On completion you can achieve a Level 1 Realise Futures Certificate.
