Summary
This course is aimed at promoting understanding of how parents/carers can support the learning and development of children 2 years to 3 years old. This course takes 8 or 10 hours to complete (four or five sessions of two hours). This course is usually delivered over 4 or 5 weeks x 2 hours.
Outcomes
- Spend time and interact together on a range of creative and practical activities
- Develop children’s listening skills through stories
- Develop children’s language and communication skills
- Make resources linked to the stories heard
- Explore children’s learning through the early years foundation stage
- Learn new skills to share at home
