Summary
Think you need an expensive camera to make good photographs? If you have bridge camera, a point and shoot, or a smart phone this course will teach you otherwise. We will look at the different genres of photography, learn how to create a good image, and set you on your way towards building a collection of photos to be proud of.
Trips to practice skills and to develop confidence will be planned over the duration of the course. You will have the opportunity to edit, enhance or add special effects to a selection of your favourite photographs before printing.
Outcomes
- Find out about the many different genres of photograph and how to take them
- Learn about photo composition and consider the rules applied including colour, balance, framing and lead in lines
- Go on interactive trips and use your new knowledge carry out photo challenges and develop your skills
- In the classroom access our computers and discover easy editing skills to enhance your photographs further
- Print out your best photos and develop ways to create them into cards
