Summary
Taking part in this one-day workshop will allow you to explore the basic principles of First Aid to prepare you for work and home scenarios that you may experience in the future. On completion of this course, you will receive a certificate of attendance to demonstrate that you have attended the course and have met the course objectives.
Outcomes
On this course, you will explore the following topics:
- Roles and responsibilities as a first aider
- How to assess first aid situations
- How to assess a casualty in various scenarios, including minor injuries
- The impact COVID-19 has had on providing emergency first aid
- You will take part in group discussions in small groups, watch First Aid demonstrations and complete a short, fun quiz to confirm what you have learned
- Although there is no formal qualification provided for this course you will receive a certificate of attendance on completion
