Summary
Get Ready for ESOL and Maths is a one day assessment session, which provides you with information about the ESOL and maths courses that we offer. We will also work with you, during the session, to identity your current skills levels and identify your goals; we can then offer you a course that suits your needs.
Outcomes
- We will introduce you to Realise Futures, explaining how the courses are structured, how we assess you throughout your learning journey and what qualifications are available
- ESOL (English for Speakers of other languages) and maths are essential skills that can help you in all aspects of your life, from everyday situations to managing the household or gaining employment
- You will complete assessments in ESOL and maths; these will let you, and us, know which level course is the right one for you
- Please bring with you a pen and a note pad
Progression
The Get Ready course is the first step towards an ESOL and/or maths course. ESOL courses are designed to focus on improving your English language skills and support you to make progress towards a qualification. You can progress with us from Pre-Entry Level up to Level 2.
