Summary
This course has been designed to provide the opportunity for ESOL learners to develop their confidence in the skills required to integrate into their communities.
Outcomes
Each term has a different focus depending on your current attainment level.
- Personal and social skills taught at Entry Level 1 and 2 options
- Living and working in the United Kingdom – taught at all levels
- Options for Entry 3 and Level 1, progression and employability awards depending on choices of pathway
- The courses build towards a group community project which will focus on using the skills developed throughout the previous terms
- The learners will be able to showcase their skills to their peers and the local community
Progression
You can start the Steps to Success program at the level that is right for you and work through the pathways to develop the skills you will need to become a well-informed citizen and improve your confidence within your community.

Entry requirements
- Aged 19 or over
- Committed to attending every week
- Have an understanding of the English language at Entry Level 1 or above
