Part-time Tutors required Family Learning

  • Location: South Suffolk, Lowestoft and Waveney
  • Business travel required

We are advertising for 3 posts. Two early Years specialists and one Family English maths and Language specialist.
Post holders will be based in their local centre- e.g: Ipswich or Lowestoft
Hours are variable and term time only – The total hours for all posts is 25.9 hours weekly – not one post at 25.9 hours.

Realise Futures Learning, Coaching and Advice has vacancies for 3 part-time tutors (variable hours), one Learning
in Families English, Maths and Language specialist for Lowestoft and Waveney and two Early Years tutor posts
(Lowestoft/Waveney and South Suffolk) to join the Family Learning team across Suffolk. Tutors will be based in
the RF Learning Centre nearest to their residence. We are looking for dynamic, flexible creative tutors with a specialism
and skills in English, Maths and Language or Early Years and a passion for working with parents/carers in a range of partner settings.
A minimum level 3 teaching qualification (level 4 for English, Maths and Language) and a subject qualification
in the relevant area are essential: Our tutors run short programmes in partner venues that encourage parental involvement in
children’s learning and development.

Outreach delivery is the norm and a willingness to travel to deliver in partner venues is essential, so access to own transport is
required, as are excellent communication skills, a positive attitude to working in partnership and flexibility in the role.
