Growing Places Christmas Market 2024

Growing Places Christmas Market 2024

Realise Futures’ Growing Places, in Claydon, have now held their 2024 Christmas Market, a well-attended event and by all accounts a great success. It was opened by the Mayor of Stowmarket, Councillor Terence Carter who gave a lovely speech before the market formerly started. Thanks go out to all those that attended, and all the staff that stayed on to keep the market open in the evening, so that even more people got the chance to attend.

Departments from all around the business came and set-up a stall, along with several local makers, including Token of the Forest.

Poppy’s Pantry Suffolk attended with a range of organic, wholefood and vegan treats.

Fulfilment and Eco Furniture provided handmade Christmas decorations made at our head office in Ipswich. The central office team set up a stall to sell them, along with a rack of affordable clothes donated by other staff members.

Nowton Nursery brought some lovely plants and flowers from their greenhouses.

Growing Places themselves had a whole Christmas grotto of a room set up and selling handmade decorations and local food and drink.

A refreshments room served scones and hot drinks with a place for people to rest and take a break.
